Oftentimes, there are difficult situations and decisions which have to be made in life. One of the easiest ways to handle a situation - and to make a decision - is to have input from others around you. Some people depend on family members, friends, or even strangers (like Forest Gump, sitting on the bench), to sort out painful experiences. Some people can solve dilemmas and do decision making all on their own,
but it usually takes a lot of concentration, time, and thought.
We all have natural response to difficult situations, yet it is not always the optimal,
or preferred response. We are human, and can be impulsive, which can throw our
judgment off during trying times.
